Why is there such a big difference in the space utilization rate of the pallet racks?
September 02,2025

Under the same warehouse area, different tray rack designs may result in a space utilization rate difference of over 15%. Many customers only realize the excessive spacing between the shelves during actual use, which leads to space waste.
The space utilization rate of the tray rack mainly depends on two points: one is the flexible adjustment range of the crossbeam height, and the other is the matching degree between the tray size and the shelf design. If the crossbeam hole spacing is too large, the adjustment can only be "jumping one grid", which is likely to cause excessive gaps.
Some enterprises often overlook the changes in future goods types during the initial purchase, resulting in a decline in subsequent warehouse efficiency. Compared with simply pursuing load-bearing capacity or height, whether it can be flexibly adjusted and compatible with different tray specifications is the key to determining the value of the tray rack.
