Crossbeam mounting plate - Stability determined by a small component
July 25,2025

At the ends of the shelf beams, hanging plates are usually welded to connect with the columns. This small hanging plate, seemingly insignificant, is often the key factor determining the stability of the shelf.
Some customers have reported that the welding of the hanging plates was not secure, and after using them for half a year, they would become loose. The beams would easily fall off when gently shaken. Others encountered deviations in the hole size, causing the hanging plates to not fit the columns tightly. When goods were placed on them, they would slightly shake.
These problems seem to be "minor parts" issues at first glance, but once they become loose under full load conditions, they may cause safety accidents for the entire shelf. When purchasing, it is advisable to spend a few more minutes to check whether the welding points of the hanging plates are full, and whether there are any splashes or incomplete welding. Details determine success or failure. This statement is particularly evident in the case of warehouse shelves.
