The key to the stability of the layer board - the flatness of the shape
February 08,2025

In the heavy-duty shelving system, the shelves may seem like just "auxiliary components", but in reality, their flatness directly affects the stability of the load-bearing capacity.
Some customers have reported that if the shelves have slight waves during the forming process, after placing the pallets on them, there will be slight warping or depression in the middle, resulting in uneven force distribution on the goods. Over time, not only will the goods be prone to shifting, but the shelves themselves are also likely to undergo fatigue deformation.
The reason for this situation often lies in the control of the die-forming by the rollers. The thickness of the sheet material is already limited, and if the forming angle is slightly off, it will leave a "memory" on the sheet surface. During subsequent spraying or galvanizing processes, these tiny deformations are more likely to be magnified.
Therefore, when customers evaluate the shelves, in addition to looking at the load-bearing data, they might as well take a piece of the finished product and actually place it on the shelf to check if its surface can fit tightly with the crossbeam. In many cases, the detailed experience is more likely to reflect the level of the equipment and process than the parameters.
