Oven exhaust hood shell forming machine - How to avoid wrinkles on complex curved surfaces

The outer shell of the range hood is not only a protective component but also the "face" of the home decoration. Its large curvature surface is most prone to surface waves or stress concentration during the forming process.
Analysis of the difficulties:
The radius of the curved surface is small, and the sheet material is prone to uneven stretching during bending;
The traditional roller processing has an uneven transition, resulting in surface waves;
The coated sheet is more likely to have scratches and peeling during the forming process.
Solution:
Use CAE simulation to optimize the roller shape, predict the stress distribution in advance;
Increase the transition radius of the mold surface to avoid single-point stress;
Add mirror polishing + hard chrome plating process on the surface of the roller wheel of the forming machine to reduce friction.
The shells produced in this way not only have high surface flatness but also can ensure that the appearance after spraying presents a high-end texture.
