Why is the material the key?
High-strength steel: High strength, but difficult to form and prone to springback;
Aluminum alloy: Good lightweight effect, but more prone to cracks during bending;
Galvanized sheet: Strong corrosion resistance, but the surface protective layer is easily scratched during forming.
What does the forming machine need to solve?
For high-strength steel: Control the springback by using segmented passes and local pressure;
For aluminum alloy: The mold needs surface hardening and increased lubrication to reduce cracks;
For galvanized sheet: The rollers must have wear-resistant coatings to avoid the zinc layer from being scratched.
