Daily Maintenance and Care Guide for Color Steel Shingles Pressing Machine
December 08,2024

The lifespan of a color steel roofing press is not only determined by the design and manufacturing quality, but is also closely related to daily use and maintenance. Correct operation and maintenance can not only extend the equipment's lifespan but also enhance production efficiency. The following are the key daily maintenance points:

1. Maintenance of Hydraulic System
Cleaning and Inspection: Hydraulic components (substrates, valves, motors, pumps, oil pipes, etc.) should be cleaned regularly, once a month, to prevent impurities from entering the system.
Oil Pipe Inspection: Pay special attention to whether the bends of the oil pipes are deformed or leaking. If there are any abnormalities after the new machine has been running for one month, they should be replaced. After two months, all connections should be fully tightened.
Hydraulic Oil Management:
Regularly replace and add hydraulic oil to maintain the normal oil level;
The oil temperature should be controlled within 35℃ to 60℃, and not exceed 70℃;
After 2000 hours of operation of the new machine, the hydraulic oil needs to be replaced. Before each oil change, the oil tank should be cleaned.

2. Operating Procedures
Only trained personnel are allowed to operate the equipment, ensuring "equipment stops when personnel leave".
The hydraulic pump must not be reversed to avoid damaging the pump body.
The oil level in the oil tank should be checked weekly. If it drops below the oil window, replenish the oil promptly.

3. Electrical and Safety Inspection
Regularly check the working condition of the electrical system to ensure reliable grounding.
In case of alarms, oil contamination, or filter abnormalities, immediately press the emergency stop button to release the system pressure, then turn off the power supply, and proceed with the maintenance.

4. Production Operation Inspection
Keep the feed inlet clean to prevent foreign objects from entering and affecting the molding quality.
In case of any abnormalities, stop the machine for inspection first to avoid running with faults.

Conclusion
The color steel roofing and walling press machine is the core equipment for building roof and wall systems. Its stability and lifespan are largely dependent on regular maintenance. By conducting regular cleaning, managing hydraulic oil, following standard operating procedures, and conducting safety inspections, users can ensure that the equipment operates efficiently and stably, providing long-term support for production.
